UVGI solutions for Vets
As a vet you will be well aware that the chances of cross infection (caused by bringing together large numbers of sick animals in your surgery) are high. The major domestic animal species, including pets and livestock, may become contaminated, colonized, or infected with MRSA. Dogs and cats are more likely to be colonised or infected with methicillin resistant Staphylococcus pseudintermedius (MRSP) which can result in animal and occasionally human morbidity or mortality.
Biosecurity can only be achieved through a comprehensive disinfection programme with proven effectiveness against a broad spectrum of viruses, bacteria, fungi and spores. This is particularly critical in operating theatres and intensive care units where animals are more susceptible to the spread of disease.
